It’s not the cheapest buffet around but it’s not a bad deal, especially for the large selection of foods. If you’re in Ho Chi Minh City around Tan Binh district and it’s lunch time then you might want to swing by to check out this “all you can eat” buffet.

I have been to this Vietnamese restaurant around 5 times and if I have to give it a rating from 1 to 5 stars, I will give it 3.9 stars. That’s because I’m not really big on buffet in the first place. For some reasons whenever I go to a buffet and there are so many selections that I just get lost and overwhelmed. I don’t get to enjoy my foods as much because I’ll be thinking of my next move for what dishes. You got to take your time and carefully plan out how you can eat the most possible and all the dishes you can enjoy. Just a lot of work :- )

Anyway, so the buffet got all your usual stuff like the salad bar, fruit and dessert bars, and of course your main dishes bar. But here’s where not all buffets have or if they do, it’s usually only one. This buffet have 4 cooking stations. I used two of them of the 5 times I’ve been there. I used the grill and boil. I’m not sure what the other two but one might be Teriyaki. When I siad “used,” I meant for example my last time there which is about three days. I went and get two plates of clams and gave one to the cook at the grill station and the other to the boiling station. And when it’s done I came and picked it up. I hope you didn’t think that I was cooking. You’re crazy if you think that ;- )

The service was good. I can’t complained. One thing made me felt a little bad was that they cleaned up as soon as the majority of the customers was leaving. It was like 1:30pm and I felt that I was bothering them if I don’t leave. So I left. I wish they would cleaned up after 2pm which is closing time.

From 11:00am – 2:00pm is lunch and the price was 175,000 VND which is around $8 USD, under $9 USD. Dinner is from 5:30pm – 9:00pm. And I don’t remember how much it was for dinner. I went there for dinner once and that was the first time and it was about 2yrs ago.

There are two of these in Ho Chi Minh City. I went to this one at 142/18 Cong Hoa, P. 4, Q. Tan Binh. It’s a little tricky. You will see a big sign out on the main street of Cong Hoa. So look for the sign. Turn in and go all the way to the end of the street/alley. By the way, the pictures above was taken there and you can click on the images to zoom in. And then the other one that I haven’t gone to yet is 137C Nguyen Trai, Q1.

If you’re vacationing in Vietnam then the one on Cong Hoa is just about 12 minutes from the airport.
